There are two primary questions our clients have when it comes to booking a session. How do I pose, and what do I wear? Both are great questions, let’s talk about one of them for right now.

First, is this a session just for you or is it going to include more than one person. In case you were wondering, yes, color coordination is a thing, but matching outfits aren’t as fashionable as they used to be. Let’s take a look at a few complimentary colors.

Complimentary Colors

Two color:

  • Yellow and purple
  • Blue and orange
  • Red and green

Three color

  • Yellow, blue, red
  • Purple, red orange, green
  • Orange, blue green, and violet-red

Hues of the same color.

Colors that match your skin tone

  • Shades of blue and green for pale skin (cooler colors)
  • Yellows and oranges go well for darker skin tones. (darker colors)
  • Black and White are the great equalizers, they look awesome on any skin tone.

Family or children’s only sessions
